pectacular Coastlines, Rainforests, Wildlife and Mountain Roads
Welcome to Victoria and one of the world’s most memorable coastal drives.
Begin with two nights in Melbourne, a sophisticated city known for its laneways, restaurants, markets, galleries and distinctive neighbourhoods. A rental car is unnecessary during your city stay, allowing you to explore conveniently on foot or by public transportation.
On Day 3, collect your rental car and travel toward the Great Ocean Road. Follow the coast through Torquay, Lorne and Apollo Bay, with beaches, cliffs and ocean viewpoints appearing around almost every bend.
Continue through the rainforests of Great Otway National Park to the famous Twelve Apostles and the dramatic Shipwreck Coast. Spend a night in historic Port Fairy before turning inland toward Grampians National Park, traditionally known as Gariwerd.
Two nights in Halls Gap provide time for mountain viewpoints, forest walks, waterfalls and opportunities to see kangaroos and other Australian wildlife.
Complete your loop with a night in Ballarat, one of Victoria’s best-known gold-rush cities, before returning to Melbourne Airport.
The suggested package includes seven nights, but your journey is fully flexible. Add or remove nights, choose your preferred hotels and select the rental-car category that best suits your trip.
